The Josep Foraster Collita 2014 presents a nice cherry color with violet, bright and clean edges. The fruit is very sweet tooth, surprising touch of liquorice. Very good acidity and a good finish without being very long but with a good persistence.
Awarded the Best Young Wine of Conca de Barbera in its previous vintage, the young red wine Josep Foraster Collita 2014 is made in this inland area of Catalonia characterized by a continental climate and vineyards of different ages with an average of 20 years. Made with Tempranillo (90%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%), the grapes were harvested a couple of days before reaching full maturity to preserve the freshness of the berry.
