There is no party without a bottle to be opened. For this reason Bugatti has decided to prepare for the celebrations for its 110 years (1909 – 2019) with a special edition of Champagne Carbon, a famous French champagne company known for providing bottles on the podiums of the Formula 1 Grand Prix sparkling wine dedicated to Bugatti is called ‘ƎB.01’ and obviously refers to the initials of the founder of the French car manufacturer, Ettore Bugatti (with E on the contrary, as used in Bugatti).
Delicious, with elegance and complexity, this white feathering aromas of peach, green apple, white flower and honeycomb lead to a refreshing mouth feel and flavors of persimmon and butterscotch, finishing with orange zest. Pairs well with fish, chicken and light pastas.
Grapes taken from the best parcels, carefully selected; manual harvest in 15 kg boxes, with cooling of grapes and extraction of the must with a very soft whole grape pressing; fermentation in stainless steel vats and French oak barrels, followed by a rest period of 8 months. At the end of the 8 months rest, during the blend preparation, only a small part of the wine is used, after a second selection of the best barrels or vats which will then compose the final blend.
Nose: powerful and complex nuttiness aromas in harmony with spicy notes, warm roasted coffee and cinnamon hints from the long contact with oak wood during the aging process.Palate: On the palate, an array of flavours flourishes, mainly to toasted nuts and chocolate. The 40 Year-old is an intense and complex port with mellow and spicy aftertaste.
Ferruccio Lamborghini was an Italian industrialist. In 1963, he created Automobili Lamborghini, a maker of high-end sports cars in Sant'Agata Bolognese. He went to build the very first super car in the world. Born to grape farmers in Renazzo, his mechanical know-how led him to enter the business of tractor manufacturing in 1948, which quickly became an important manufacturer of agricultural equipment in the midst of Italy's post-WWII economic boom. Lamborghini sold off many of his interests by the late 1970s and retired to an estate in Umbria, where he pursued winemaking.
