60% Malvasia Bianca di Candia, 30% Trebbiano Toscano, 10% Malvasia del Lazio. Fontana Candida was founded in 1958 and is headquartered in Monteporzio Catone, Rome; their bottling cellar is also located here. Their 62-acre vineyards and vinification cellar are situated in the heart of Frascati. In the late 1950s, Giovanna Orta di Torre Uzzone, a noblewoman of Piedmontese origin, designed and patented a special, clear glass bottle with its wide, squat shape that has since become Fontana Candida's emblem.
