Ruby red with garnet red highlights. Fragrant, intense, spicy, and complex bouquet and rich in sensations, hints of fruit and vanilla well blended together. Good structure, elegance, and personality on the palate, with lively and austere tannins and persistence. Excellent served with fragrantly flavored, red-meat dishes and mature cheeses at a serving temperature of 62–64 degrees F. Served chilled (at 59 degrees F), it also goes perfectly with savory fish dishes.
