Domaine Philippe Charlopin Bourgogne Blanc 2011
Chardonnay | France
This Bourgogne Blanc has gorgeous aromas and sultry, ripe white fruit. Pear, melon and toasted almonds. In the mouth you will taste a piece of toast with a layer of melted butter with a hint pineapples. Gorgeous glass, lots of taste impressions, nice balance and a distinct freshness.
Chardonnay. The Charlopin-Parizot estate is located in Gevrey-Chambertin. Originally created in 1977, the family company was taken over by Philippe Charlopin and had only 3.7 acres of vineyards. Today, the estate has increased to 62 acres and is distributed over the Cote de Nuits, Cote de Beaune, and Chablis appellations.
