Domaine la Cabotte Colline Blanc 2014
It is a dry wine. The nose is discreet and elegant expressing complex and subtle aromas, mixing pear and white-peach blossoms, apricots, and nutmeg. In the mouth it is round, smoothly tense, expressing a very beautiful minerality, rich, long, and airy on the finish. Drink as an aperitif, with white meats, fish, or crustaceans.
Grenache Blanc, Clairette, and Viognier. Estate bottled by Marie-Pierre Plumet d'Ardhuy. The domain takes its name from a shelter built with dry stones resistant to the summer and harsh winter weather. Gabriel d'Ardhuy, famous winemaker and owner of Domaine d'Ardhuy in Burgundy, acquired in 1981 a property of 112 acres, in one piece, at the heart of the Massif of Uchaux, northeast of Vaucluse in Southern Cotes du Rhone. He entrusted the property to Marie-Pierre, one of his seven daughters.
