Domaine de Vauroux Olivier Tricon Chablis 2015
Chardonnay | France
Aromatic with clean mineral notes and hints of citrus. The palate is medium bodied with crisp, appley acidity, tight, pure fruit flavors of white peach and pears finished with a classic, steely, dry finish.
It was in 1972 that Olivier’s father (Jean-Pierre Tricon) and his uncle (Claude Tricon) planted the first vine stock on Domaine du Vauroux. It was because the two brothers had amalgamated through acquisition or swaps thirteen hectares (approx 32 acres) on the famous Pargues hillside that they decided to set up a vineyard and were then to develop it as regards the main Chablis appellations.
