Domaine Christian Moreau Chablis Grand Cru Vaudesir 2015

Christian Moreau frames its orchard and tropical fruits with crushed seashells, citrus zest, white flower petals, smoky minerals and white pepper. It’s a tightly wound, racy wine that uncoils on the palate to reveal a taut core of minerals and a delicious lime scent; elegant and sophisticated, this wine builds to a sustained, seamless finish.

In 1814, Jean Joseph MOREAU, a "tonnelier" from Montbard, founded the wine-merchant and trading firm, J. Moreau et Fils, in Chablis. Fabien, a member of the sixth generation of the family to be involved in winemaking, obtained his National Degree in Oenology in Dijon and a Masters in Business Administration at the E.N.I.T.A in Bordeaux. He then went to New Zealand for a year to study the country's winemaking practices. In December 2001, Fabien returned to Chablis and took over as Managing Director and Head Winemaker at the Domaine Christian MOREAU Pere et Fils.
