Ruby red color with black cherries, blackberries, and earth on the nose. Full-bodied with dark berries, and spice on the palate. Goes well with pasta dishes.
A really beautiful and easy-drinking bottle of wine. Dark, black cherry fruit that is velvety smooth and fresh, with gentle tannins which just nibble around the edges. It is basically a lighter version of an Amorone or Ripasso wine and you will notice the elegant textural similarities, but without so much weight and heavy alcohol… kind of an everyday Amarone.
