Chateau L'Orangerie Bordeaux Superieur 2014
Moderately dense garnet with purple. Very appealing, clean and youthful aroma of healthy, mature dark cherry and damson plum with faint spice notes. The wine is round, supple and medium bodied plus on the palate, thoroughly enjoyable now, and imparts a soft final impression with the barest touch of tannin.
Since several centuries, the family Icard, owners of Chateau de L’Orangerie have been living in Saint Félix de Foncaude, a small village in the Entre-Deux-Mers region. Thanks to the persistence and initiative spirit within the Chateau’s family members, it has increased in size throughout the years. Very much attached to his patrimony, but also his desire to bring that touch of originality to his production, Jean Christophe Icard, present owner proposes a range of quality wines, linking tradition and modernity.
