Notable for its crispness and clarity, this enjoyable 2022 Joseph Mellot is a stunning example of the Loire region. Well-balanced and the ideal accompaniment for seafood and goat’s cheese, it has a punchy nose and shows plenty of floral aromas.
Aromas of raspberries, cherries, brambleberry and cola with notes of vanilla. Long, elegant finish, with notes of cigar. On the palate, dark berry flavors lead to soft, velvety tannins on the mid-palate and notes of spice on the long, elegant finish.

A delicate pomegranate-pink color with very light orange reflections. The nose is subtle and fresh, first offering an original palette of tropical fruits (guava and lychee) and small berries (raspberries, cherries, and wild strawberries), followed by rose and pomegranate notes.

A first, and last, this is the first 1987 The Singleton of Glen Ord vintage and the only one ever to be released, from the last casks that remain. Slow crafting and patience were key to this rare bottling, taking time to distil the liquid and see each cask reach its peak. Very deep purple ruby. Very intense and complex. It is difficult to identify which is more dominant of the mineral characters, the fruity notes or the floral notes. Very bold, mineral with a surprising freshness with fine and crisp tannins - apricot notes of Viognier.
