Hawk and Horse Vineyards 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon is a premium wine from the Red Hills AVA in Lake County, California. Crafted with precision, it showcases bold flavors of dark fruits, hints of spice, and a smooth, velvety finish.
The tones of red berry jam are expressed, the scent of honey and red orange is also noticeable. An interesting balance of sweetness and acidity is felt, which makes it even more attractive and memorable. Serve at 6-7°C. Goes well with crispy cakes.
The "second wine" of Napa's exalted Covenant Winery, Covenant "Red C" Cabernet Sauvignon is rich and opulent, yet accessible.
