Long ago, a man named Bertin decided to cultivate the same vines in his field as those of the Bèze monks. His wine was so exceptional that his vineyard came to be known solely in reference to him: Bertin's field, or, in French, 'Champ de Bertin', which over the years became'Chambertin'.
In 2009, mother nature surpassed herself. She allowed the greatest terroirs, whatever their grape variety, to bring their fruit to exceptional ripeness, providing a wine of wonderful concentration, finesse, balance and freshness.
Formed in 2011 by two Argentinian couples, the quartet set out to revive the planting of varieties indigenous to Argentina called "Criollas." Sitting at 4,920 feet above sea level, the vines are planted in alluvial soils along the Los Patos River.

A masterful blend of Grande & Petite Champagne Cognacs. It contains the aromas of rose petals and vanilla; fat and creamy with dates; leather; tobacco; butterscotch; and tons of vanilla in the mouth. Elegant and lush with a long persistent finish. Sip neat.
Blend: 64% Pinot Noir, 36% Chardonnay. La Grande Dame 1998 has a pale gold color with jade glints. The wine is crystal clear, with unbelievably fine bubbles.
Nose: Distinct red fruit aromas, especially cherry and a hint of marasca with a hint of spice and shrubs.Taste: The fruity sensation it perceives on the nose. It is elegant, with an excellent balance of acidity and softness. Silky tannins leave a lingering finish.
