The wine appeared in 1981 and is named after the artist Nikolai (Niko) Pirosmanashvili. The wine is made from Saperavi grapes. After 5-7 days of maceration, when the desired level of residual sugar is reached, the fermentation process is stopped by cooling and filtering the wine, thereby preserving its natural sweetness and freshness.
Dry orange wine Khikhvi Kvevri is made from grapes of the same name, grown in the Kistauri microzone (Kakheti). The wine is created according to the classical technology of making Georgian dry white wines, when fermentation and aging take place in kvevri - huge clay jugs, traditional in Kakhetian winemaking. Château ARBO 2019, is a dense purple colour. On the nose, a fine and subtle bouquet revealing notes of blackberries, cherries and peppermint. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and well supported by the freshness of its structure. The tannins are fine and well-integrated, with a juicy and fruity finish.
Growing Chardonnay grapes on clay and chalk-rich soil and 10 months of élevage in oak delivers a very appealing freshness, minerality and roundness. Its expressive nose exudes aromas of white fruits, white flowers, and dried fruits.

This wine perfectly displays aroma peculiar to this variety combined with notes of cherry and blackberry, presented with dark red color. Velvet and dance taste is nicely harmonized with natural sweetness. Recommended serving temperature 52-54 degrees F.
