Flavor: among dizzy aromas of ripe red fruit and wood berry Usakhelauri flavor reveals itself. Then, bilberry, gooseberry, wild strawberry, currant, mountain raspberry are unfolded.
Binyamina Reserve Merlot is made from grapes of the blue-blooded Merlot variety with origins in Bordeaux. The grapes were harvested from our vineyards in two adjacent regions: the Upper Galilee, primarily from Kerem Ben Zimra, on a combination of basaltic and terra rossa soil over hard limestone bedrock with efficient aeration of the roots; and the center of the Golan Heights, with its deep, basaltic soil and good drainage.
A cuvée full of finesse: aromas with notes of citrus fruit and garrigue. Airy on the palate. Its minerality gives it a distinctive freshness, enhanced by a salinity typical of the terroir.
There’s a luxurious texture I aim for with our Jayson Cabernet, selecting blocks of our mountain fruit that deliver concentration and intensity while possessing plush fruit and a polished tannin profile.
Veuve Clicquot's signature brut non-vintage is loved the world over for its crisp, full flavors, consistent quality and celebratory yellow label. The predominance of Pinot Noir provides the structure that is so typically Clicquot, while a touch of Pinot Meunier rounds out the blend.
On the nose: Hints of small crisp red fruits (raspberry, redcurrant and wild strawberry) slowly open up to aromas of black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry, and blueberry). The complexity is intensely sensual (musk, rose) and spicy (pink pepper and nutmeg).
Volnay tends to take on more ethereal qualities with a certain nervosity. That’s certainly apparent in this terroir, which exhibits gorgeous floral aromas and red stone fruits with vibrancy and length.
