Rkatsiteli is a dry white wine made from Rkatsiteli grapes with a crystal bright straw colour. The fine, fruity bouquet is dominated by apple and melon. The taste is fresh and harmonious. Food matching: an ideal match with freshly caught fish and starters. Serve at +8C .. +10C
Appellation origin controlled dry white wine, Tsinandali micro-zone. Traditional Georgian wine made from Rkatsiteli and Kakhuri Mtsvane grape varieties cultivated in the strictly regulated micro-zone of Tsinandali, Telavi district, Kakheti, Eastern Georgia. On the palate it is crisp and fresh with hints of banana and tropical salads. Its subtly creamy and complex taste is from partial ageing in french oak. Food matching: grilled salmon, seafood and vegetable dishes. Serve at +8C .. +12C
This Meursault is pale yellow in color with green highlights and a subtle and fresh nose of citrus fruits and vanilla, with some oak adding a certain complexity. It is still quite tight on the back-palate.
The original Huet vineyard is nearly 9 hA. It has the richest soils of the domaine’s three crus—a deep limestone-clay—and the wines are generally the estate’s most approachable.
Ingredients: Chardonnay grapes, fresh ginger. No added sulphur.
Tasting Notes: Nose: Tropical with Banana, floral, lychee, red apple, soft and warm feeling. Palate: Orange and underripe pineapple, kiwi, bright but also was a fresh cream texture. Lactic and tangy.
More limestone in the soil compared to Charmois. Native yeast fermentation in stainless steel. Aged in French oak barrels for 24 months, less than 15% new. 30-45 g/L sulfur added at bottling. Corpulent, lemon curd with zippy acidity.
