50% Marsanne, 25% Clairette, 25% Ugni blanc. Light yellow color, bright and clear with light green highlights. Delicate nose with notes of Provencal herbs, anise, white peach, and white acacia. On the palate, there is fleshiness and a fresh, peach-like acidity.
Produced in the tiniest of quantities, this absolutely stunning Barolo is a delight! Texture like velvet and extremely elegant, it is open, generous and layered with juicy red cherry flavours overlain with herbs and spices, plus notes of raspberry and cranberry.
Delaforce Douro Alvarinho is a white wine from the Douro region of Portugal. This wine is made from 100% Alvarinho grapes, which are known for their intense aromas and flavors. The wine has a bright yellow color with greenish hues and a nose of citrus, white flowers, and tropical fruits.
A rich garnet color with a ruby edge, the wine opens to reveal lifted fruit aromas of bright strawberry and jammy fruit, mocha, and vanilla, along with toasty oak notes. Expressive boysenberry, blackberry, dark cherry, juicy strawberry, and toasty mocha flavors lend complexity and depth on the palate.
The 2020 Quintessa enters on a core of cassis, black cherry, and currants enveloped by clove spice and savory dried herbs. Layers of structured tannin and the distinct mineral imprint of the Quintessa terroir give way to a structured and polished finish. Balanced and with well-integrated movement, this elegant and complex wine has plenty of life ahead of it – drinking well now and with cellar potential for at least 20 years.
Deep, golden copper. Aromas of orchard fruits (crystallized plums and apples), roasted notes (mocha coffee, toasted almonds, vetiver), and rich spice (cinnamon, orange tree flower, honey, and beeswax).
Château ARBO 2019, is a dense purple colour. On the nose, a fine and subtle bouquet revealing notes of blackberries, cherries and peppermint. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and well supported by the freshness of its structure. The tannins are fine and well-integrated, with a juicy and fruity finish.
The second of seven bottlings in the Midleton Kylebeg Wood series, each of which is traceable to a single native Irish oak. The felling of these trees on Ballykilcavan estate, cast sunlight on the floor of this centuries-old forest where new saplings are already taking purchase. A promise that Irish oak will continue to grow there for centuries to come.
