PX Sherry is one of Kavalan whisky's classic collection. The new make spirit matured in the PX sherry casks produces our uniquely special character and flavour with classic fruity, nutty and chocolate aromas.
Distiller’s Art is a single-cask range of bottlings released by Hunter Laing. Hunter Laing was founded in Glasgow, similar to the Douglas Laing story and became their own entity in 2013. They are behind other great bottlings such as Old Malt Cask and Old & Rare. They also are the owners of the new Islay distillery, Ardnahoe.
Produced from Kisi grapes grown in our estate owned vineyards in village Tsinadali of Kakhet region. Fermentation is driven by natural yeast. Aged in oak barrels. This golden color wine with aromas of spices, quince and ripe fruits is full-body, with soft tannins and a long harmonious ending.
With an appealing aromatic intensity, it presents woody notes, aromas of nuts, light smoke, sweet and balsamic aromas, due to the stage in wooden barrels. On the palate, sweetness is compensated by acidity, which gives it freshness and balance, reveals notes of nuts, roasted coffee, torrefaction and light chocolate.
This Cabernet Sauvignon is rich with ripe, dark fruit flavors, complemented by a touch of Petite Sirah that enhances its deep fruit character and structure. A hint of Merlot adds to the plush mouthfeel, creating a well-rounded and satisfying wine.
An intricate blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot explode on the palate harboring concentrated fruit flavors of ripe cherry and luxuriant blueberry. The Cabernet is inky, dark, and concentrated exhibiting a lush, rich and bold tannin structure.
Plenty of ripe, wild berry and plum aromas and flavors, framed by vanilla, spice, and toasty oak. Lush mid-palate tannins flow into a lengthy finish accented by bright fruit. Made with 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, 7% Petit Verdot.
A big ole nose of cinnamon stick, clove, vanilla, peppermint, and burned sugar is freshened up with crisp green apple. Very spicy, with cinnamon, crisp mint and fennel. Underlying sweet notes of caramel, molasses, vanilla, macaroon, cocoa, and candied fruit.
