Purple hue and purple middle. Lovely fresh blueberry and red cherry aromatics with a little mocha and white pepper. The mouth is cola and darker fruits such as black plum and black cherry. Great ripe and supple tannins. Nice structure and a finish that is round and full.
The Founding Brothers is produced in homage to James and William Rennie the founders of the original winery on the property and images of both are portrayed on this label.

A dry red wine, dark, with a nose of dried fruit, candied cherry, and prune. These aromas are joined by scents of caramel and vanilla together with the sweetness of wood. The wine has a velvety smooth body, and a slightly sweet finish filled with fruit.Â
Parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Zinfandel form the backbone of this wine. Petite Sirah and Merlot were then meticulously selected to add complexity to this intense blend.

Sourced from Sorenson and Haymaker vineyards on the west and east-facing sides of Howell Mountain, this wine has a long velvety finish.
