Since its introduction with the 2004 vintage, ASTERISK Proprietary Red speaks to the second choice from SLOAN ESTATE, exhibiting a substitute yet rich and convincing articulation of the terroir.
Following the tradition of the Tokaj wine region, the partially botrytized grapes and picked in early November. Following an extended maceration period and fermentation in stainless steel, this Szamorodni ages in barrels deep in the cellar before being bottled. While it may be enjoyed as an aperitif, it also has the ability to age well.
Clear deep ruby-purple color. Clean and distinguished aromas of black cherries and blueberry jam. These berry jam flavors attack the palate with juiciness getting smoothed out with light vanilla and delicate milk chocolate and roasted java bean.
Very unique Herzog creation as the winery took some of their best Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and aged them exclusively on French oak that imparts flavors of vanilla and chocolate and even some clove and spice.
This Cabernet Sauvignon truly expresses the depth and complexity of the grape. Perfumed with violets and wild berries, it shows strong varietal characters and rich, ripe plum fruit. Seamless and elegant, this wine shows big black fruit on the palette, fine grain soft tannins and a long coffee chocolate finish.
Our wine, made from premium vineyards in the Paso Robles AVA, captures the spirit of 1850’s California. It’s a rebellious red, fermented in stainless steel and oak, with notes of dark fruit, brown spice, and a dusting of toasted tobacco that offers you a distinct taste of Paso Robles.
This delicate and fruity wine is a sure pick-me-up for anyone who's had a long, busy day. The bouquet has notes of pear, citrus and almonds. The first impression upon tasting it is crisp and refreshing, with the Garganega adding body to the midpalate and length on the finish.
The wine is dark and concentrated, bursting with scents of raspberries, blueberries, and slightly sweet plum, surrounded by abundant aromas of toasted oak, coffee, and earth. It has a rich, heavy body with an outstanding ripe fruit flavor, caressing sweetness, and delightful tartness. It pairs well with rich meats or stews.
Macán Clásico is a wine more attached to the territory. Freshness, fruitiness and delicacy are its hallmarks. Its elaboration takes place in stainless steel tanks, with a part of malolactic fermentation in oak, and a barrel aging that ranges between 12 and 14 months depending on the characteristics of the vintage.
Panza is the second label from Quixote Winery; it’s made from the organic fruit from the Estate, but unlike Quixote wines, it's available outside of the winery. Philippe Melka is the winemaker, and his style works magic with the Stag's Leap District fruit.
Very pale yellow. Classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc aromas of lifted citrus, tropical fruit, and crushed herbs. A fresh, juicy wine with vibrant acidity and plenty of weight and length on the palate. Ripe, tropical fruit flavor with passion fruit, melon, and grapefruit.
