Tequila 1940 has a traditional process where agaves are cooked in masonry ovens for 30 hours of direct steam at lower pressure, slower cooking, 24-hour rest and 18-hour cooling. It is aged in exhausted American white oak barrels that previously only aged tequila.
Campo Azul 1940 Reposado is a 100% organic agave tequila from Jalisco, Mexico. It has a light and balanced nose of sweet agave, citrus, and mild spice. The palate features roasted agave and hints of vanilla, caramel, and nuts, with a long, smooth finish.
