Quintarelli's Primofiore is, in a word, gorgeous. It represents the estate’s youngest red wine, often referred to as the “first flower” (translation of Primofiore), released after a brief period of aging.
The aromas of this complex red wine range from cherries and plums to gladiolus flowers and earthy flint. The tannic, oak-aged flavors are bright and round, with a dry, warm, earthy finish.
Complex and persistent nose with marked notes of spicy and wild berries. On the palate is well-structured, elegant, round and smooth with fruity notes and soft tannins.
Made from 80% Sangiovese grapes blended with a dash of 20% Cabernet Sauvignon grown on on dry-farmed, hillside vineyards in central Tuscany. Fruity and intense flavors, with hints of berries, coffee, vanilla, and spice, are matched with a supple tannin structure and a long finish.
Aromas of new leather, iris, wet earth and perfumed berry meld together with crushed herbs and spices. The full-bodied, elegant palate delivers juicy Marasca cherry, black raspberry, white pepper and a hint of tobacco, while firm acidity and taut, fine-grained tannins lend ageworthy support and finesse.
Ruby red color. Immediately noticeable aroma of fruits and flowers. Well-marked fragrant taste of marasca cherry and wild cherry, with a hint of dog-rose. The wise use of some plots of land owned by Petra results in a fresh, easy-to-drink wine of quality reflecting the soil in which the vines grow.
Intense garnet red color. Notes of raspberry and wild strawberry with floral tones are found on the nose. On the palate, good structure is matched with freshness of fruit and fine tannins.
Light straw yellow in color, with a nose that is both intanse and elegant with fruity notes. This dry wine is fresh, opulent, nuanced, and delicate, with a body and finish to match.
Clear, firm, quite fresh aroma of red and a little black berries with floral nuances and a touch of citrus zest as well as hints of soup herbs and tar. Taut, tart, juicy, youthful fruit, nutty aromas, a little cocoa and a hint of coffee, some acidity, present, yet fine tannin, persistent, has power, salt in the background, also a little herbs and pepper, quite polished, very good, juicy and spicy finish with traction.
Deep dark reddish-purple in color, bordering on opaque. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, plums & blueberries with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes, spices & minerals.

Straw yellow in color, the wine shows delicate aromas of orange flowers, bananas and tropical fruit. On the palate, the flavors are savory, refreshing and contain notes that recall the fruit first felt on the nose.
