Intrigu is only aged in stainless steel for 6 months, followed by 3 months in bottle, which allows for a transparent presentation of the grape. On the nose there are aromas of balsamic, clove, violets, and black pepper. On the palate, the wine is filled with notes of darker black and red fruits, tobacco leaves and a touch of clove. The tannins are gentle and leave a mouth coating finish.
Zion is a Jerusalem family winery, which has been making wine for over 170 years. Crown, the flagship wine, is a Bordeaux style blend, which is rich, complex with a long lingering finish. The wine was aged in small French oak barrels for 18 months.
