This name indicates simply that the grapes for this Brunello come from their own vineyards, all situated in the same macro-zone on the South-East slope of Montalcino. In 2011, the grapes for the Brunello “Vigneti del Versante” come from two vineyards with similar characteristics – Cancello Rosso and Pian Bassolino.

The winery's flagship wine takes its name from the estate, the ca' marcanda, the house of endless negotiations. The name refers to the many hours that Angelo Gaja spent convincing the property's previous owners to sell the estate vineyard that produces this wine to him.
Vermentino from the Guado al Tasso estate is straw yellow in color with greenish highlights. Excellent aromatic intensity on the nose offers notes of citrus fruit, white flower blossoms and tropical fruit.
