This is a blend of Grignolino, Pinot Noir and two ancient native grapes from this area that Fabrizio is helping to revive- a red grape called Slarina and a white called Baratuciat. This is on the lighter side of medium with racy red fruit and spice, perfect with a chill next to anything grilled.
The Primitivo di Manduria Sessantanni Old Vines di San Marzano is born in vineyards located in the municipalities of San Marzano and Sava. It is produced exclusively with Primitivo grapes, harvested by hand towards the second half of September.
