Today, the estate coves 57 ha of vines and produces 2 wines Chateau Haut Branda and Chateau La Caussade.
A combination of the sky and the ocean, La Maison Bleue is a perfect symbol of the terroir from which it comes. This cuvée has benefited from the warmth of the South-West sun to develop body and complexity, while at the same time enjoying an oceanic climate which gives it freshness and vivacity.
Colour is deep Garnet with a high density and purple briliant rim. Palate is aromatic with fresh plump hint, balance between tannins and fruit is good, nice fresh fruity finish. This wine is excellent with poultry, meat and Cheeses.
For red varieties, harvests began on 21 September for the ‘old’ Merlot and finished on 8 October with the Cabernet Sauvignon. The red wines are extraordinarily fruity with a deep color, powerful aromas, and silky tannins with a high concentration of polyphenols.Blend: 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot
