The 2018 Sancerre Blanc Les Romains offers lovely textural depth and fine balance. Lemon confit, marzipan, spice and floral notes add that extra bit of pliancy and resonance that gives the wine its soft curves and open-knit personality.
Produced in the heart of the Bordeaux region, La Mouliniere Red offers an intense nose o red beries. Dry, juicy and fruity on the palate, his wine will pair beautifully with cold cuts, grilled meats, cheese or pizza.
After sorting in the vineyard and winery, the grapes are de-stemmed then directly put in tank. The spontaneous fermentation then starts. The grapes will stay in tank for roughly three weeks during fermentation. The wine is then put in oak barrels, by gravity, for 10 months (no new oak). No fining is performed.
A very generous nose, with a very intense complexity. On the palate, the power and structure are there, while maintaining great finesse. A wine that will only improve over the coming years.
Beautiful ruby color. This wine has pleasant, fresh, red-fruit aromas on the nose, which we also savor on the palate. It has a rich and very ripe substance, with fine round tannins. It’s a very well structured and pleasant wine.
Medium ruby in colour, this has a spicy nose which bursts with fruits of the forest. It displays impressive concentration and a firm, but relatively elegant, layered structure that is well wrapped in juicy, succulent red and black berry fruit.
This wine has a lovely shimmer and is of a pretty golden color with green reflections. The rich and complex nose is characterized by pleasant and subtle floral and mineral aromas. It has a wonderful structure in the mouth with minerality and the charming typical chardonnay aromas.
The 2012 is quite pale at the present time, with brilliant green highlights. The nose is well-defined and mineral. Still very young and quite elegant, this wine has yet to reveal its full complexity.
A fruity, mineral and fine wine will be appreciate for the aperitif especially with oysters. Michel Thomas and his son Laurent took over the estate in 1970 from Michel’s father, who started in 1946.
Bright pale yellow robe with golden reflections. The nose is complex, combining flowers (broom), grapefruit with mineral aromas (flint). The attack is lively and fresh with confirmation of exotic fruits. Good aromatic persistence.
The wine is aged in oak barrels for 15 months. It has a nice bright straw gold color. The nose is with great finesse with notes of citrus, flowers (acacia), minerality and it reveals a slight touch of honey, which will increase with age.
A great deal of volume and presence on the nose. In the mouth, it is perhaps the fleshiest of all, and the one already showing the greatest balance. This is a fine example of a great terroir that acts as a filter to receive and to master the force of the sun.
