This rosé from the Côtes de Provence is all about the Grenache, a favorite of the winemaker. It embodies the classic Provençal style, with aromas of grapefruit, white peaches, and herbs. The 5.6-acre Domaine Jacques Prieur parcel of 1er Cru Champ-Pimont sits on the slope overlooking the town of Beaune just west of the village. The vineyard faces due east and produces both red and white wines of superior quality.
