A beautiful wine from a near-perfect vintage, this robust Cabernet Sauvignon shows balance and complexity - a blend of dark berry, generous oak notes, clove, and nutmeg. This is a supple and complex wine, full-bodied in style, with a punch of power, ripeness, and elegance from start to finish.
The aromas on this fully ripe 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon show lovely dark cherry and cocoa notes, baking spices and cedar bark, anise, currants, berry jam. Full, soft and velvety at entry, the palate impression is broad and very smooth, with bright fresh fruit elements.
The 2021 Chardonnay showcases a combination of 4 distinct blocks from the Hudson Estate planted to Heritage Shot Wente clone. Hudson hand selected barrels from each site to create a Chardonnay that fully expresses the elegant and balanced style of Hudson Vineyards. The wine is rich with bright acidity and mouthwatering notes of citrus, stone fruit, and brioche.
Medium red, a bit darker than the Coteaux Nobles. Less fruity and spicy on the nose today, with the strawberry and cherry aromas currently dominated by mocha, graphite and leather.
The inky purple/blue-tinged 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Ranch Vineyard is more focused and tight, with pure aromatics of blue fruits, chocolate, graphite, and iron. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it shows the structured, concentrated, age-worthy style of the vintage and is a seriously good wine in the making.
Deep and bright red, this is an elegant mouthwatering, fruit forward wine. With grit and power it shows well the volcanic origins of the Meagre Soil on which it grows. Baked plum and cassis and black pepper.
Deep Blue is a blend of seven biodynamic or organically farmed vineyards in the Willamette Valley; Cassin, Roshni, Johan, Momtazi, Nemarniki, Finnigan Hill and Claygate. The vineyards and barrels we selected were chosen for their deeper, blue and black fruit attributes, as well as their lush and silky textures.
Rich aromas of ripe black cherry, Mission fig, and dark chocolate mingle with a spice box of clove and nutmeg. The palate is filled with flavors of juicy blackberry and boysenberry that are enveloped in silky tannins, showing complexity beyond its years.
This is the fifth vintage to come exclusively from the Martinelli Charles Ranch, two miles in from the Pacific at 1,115 ft elevation. Coming from a special vineyard site, our Sonoma Coast Chardonnay show great depth of flavor, length of finish, aromatic complexity, and a fine balance between richness and delicacy.
The 2013 Cariad Proprietary Red Wine, a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc and 9% Petit Verdot, shows great intensity, with a slightly more burning ember and scorched earthiness to it, giving it a more Graves-like character compared to the purity of the Tychson Hill.
Mighty in concentration, depth and elegance. The bouquet shows beautiful freshness with a cascade of red and dark berry fruit notes followed by hints of rose petal and violet.
