Fine, distinguished. On the first nose, a herbaceous, salty and empyreumatic (sleet) peat clearly dominates. Allowed to breathe, it makes way for fruits (apple, pear, Canary melon), flowers (lily, carnation) and mint, all of which bring lots of momentum to the aroma palette. Gradually, it becomes increasingly milky (cream, coconut), exotic (pineapple, yellow kiwi) and medicinal (ointment, arnica).
A vatted single malt of sherry barrels and other specially selected barrels named for the King Car conglomerate. The palate has a hint of sweet mango juice with that spicy complexity and gentle warmth on a medium, oily and citrus finish. Enjoy on the rocks.

This is already a delicious craft rye whiskey even before you factor in that it is only three years old. It’s bold, spicy, sophisticated, and packed with so many delicious rye-forward flavors that it doesn’t taste like a typical young craft rye whiskey. Instead, whereas many other young craft ryes tend to be boldly flavored with no end of herbaceous rye and young oak notes.
