The second release of the Booker's Bourbon 2022 Collection is Booker’s Batch 2022-02 “The Lumberyard Batch”. This batch is named in honor of my dad, Booker Noe’s pre-distillery years. While his journey to becoming a distiller wasn't exactly a straight path, it led him to his true passion.

Cromwell’s Royal Deluxe Fine Blended Scotch whisky is a most enjoyable blend, of malted barley & grain, matured together in oak barrels for 3 years. The whisky is well balanced, noted for its malty, smoke notes on the nose with additional aromas such as honey, raisins and delicate hints of caramel.
Honeyed gold in color with aromas of lime and orange rind, sultanas and dates give a rich fruity flavor laced with tantalising spices of coconut and nutmeg. On the palate notes of ginger, nutmeg and toasted almonds bring a deep, warming taste interwoven with a syrupy lemon meringue and honeycomb middle.
Big Moustache is a bold Tennessee Whiskey bottled at 100 proof. The first release produced 580 cases from 14 hand selected barrels. The mash build is 80% corn 10% malted barley and 10% rye. A long fermentation of 3 days make this whiskey unique.
A product exclusively made in the Madeira region of Portugal, Madeira wine ranges from dry to sweet and can resemble a tawny port. It’s a very specific type of wine, and as a result there are far less Madeira finished bourbons versus other wine finished bourbons being produced.
A lively expression of The Singleton of Glen Ord; smooth and sweet, with elegant winey notes intermingled with luscious red fruits, it is also spicy-dry, with a gingery heat.

Bruichladdich 18 Year Old is created using a combination of Islay, Organic, and Scottish mainland barley. The Whisky is matured primarily in bourbon casks, with a smaller proportion of Sauternes and Port casks.
The first release from Booker's in 2022, Booker's Small Batch Collection No. 2022-01 Ronnie's Batch is a 124.3 barrel-proof straight bourbon aged for 6 years, 11 months, and 22 days by the Jim Beam distilling powerhouse.
Very sweet with a smooth, creamy texture, this is a Speyside whisky with chocolate and custard notes early on that indicate the dessert nature of this tipple, with slight zesty, tropical fruity notes showing that it also has a vibrant side. There are lemon notes throughout this dram, as well as vanilla sponge and marzipan that demonstrate the softer side of this whisky.
Warm golden color, like early morning sunshine setting the heavens on fire. Complex and powerful, layers of soft ripe citrus fruits, dipped in fresh honey and dusted with fragrant spices.
The relentless upward march of prices for well-aged scotch is discouraging to veteran whisky drinkers and newcomers alike. This lovely Speyside 18 year old hearkens back to the good old days of single malt.
