The 2020 Tignanello is an intense ruby red in color. Complex notes of ripe red fruits, especially cherries, are highlighted along with berries and floral notes. Its bouquet is complemented by notes of roasted coffee and cocoa powder. On the palate, the wine is vibrant with a layered mouthfeel and silky tannins. Tignanello closes with spicy notes of pepper, licorice and herbs with a fresh, lengthy finish.

After 16 months of maturing & aging the unique blend was created.
This wine is composed of 39% Shiraz, 19% Marselan, 14% Zinfandel, 11% Merlot, 8% Tempranillo, 5% Mourvedre & 4% Viognier, deriving from various regions in the Negev. Each wine was aged individually in large oak vats and concrete vats for 7 months. This created a refreshing fruity wine that will pair well with Mediterranean cuisine.
The 7th generation wines show high quality, concentration, and complexity. The color of the wine is deep purple. The wine has the aromas of blueberries, black tea and is spicy. It is powerful and earthy, with flavors of black fruit. The wine is full-bodied with a long fruity finish.
Rich aromas of ripe black cherry, Mission fig, and dark chocolate mingle with a spice box of clove and nutmeg. The palate is filled with flavors of juicy blackberry and boysenberry that are enveloped in silky tannins, showing complexity beyond its years. Crafted in 6 ton fermentors, the cap management was primarily pump and pour overs combined with a few rack and returns. Spontaneously fermented by indigenous yeast, each fermentor reached temperatures between 87-90 degrees F. About 25% whole cluster and 20% extended maceration, the wine yields approachable and classic Willamette characteristics with structured, smooth tannins.
Very delicate destemming and crushing to preserve the integrity of the grapes followed by a first fermentation in october for 8-10 days at controlled temperature (21-22°C). A second "Ripasso" refermentation (on the skins of Amarone in February/March. Ageing in barrels of 25 HL (70%) and in barriques (30%) or one year. Dry, warm, full bodied and intense wine.
