Family winery since 1848 in Jerusalem. The CAPITAL label represents quality and elegance. The wine was made from the finest vineyards in the Judean HIls. It was aged in small French oak barrels for 10 months.
The Chianti Colli Senesi ‘normale’ is 100% Sangiovese. Maceration lasted a month. Aged for one year in cement. This is an overdelivering Sangiovese, with perfectly encapsulated fruit and just the right amount of supporting grip. The label reads, “Year 800- Tolfo dei Gricci, French Knight.”

Ripe black cherries, wild blackberries, blackcurrants, nutmeg, licorice, mahogany, musk and some dried thyme on the nose. It’s full-bodied and polished with intense blue and black-fruit flavors, wonderfully balanced with wood, spice and smoky notes. Velvety, integrated tannins.
This is a full bodied red blend with expressive aromas of black and blue fruits on the nose. The palate is filled with flavors of candied fruit, dark toasty oak, and a satisfying touch of sweetness on the finish.
Composed of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc coming mainly from clay soils on the plateau and aged for one year in oak, 65% new, the 2015 Clos du Clocher springs forth with profound notes of crushed blackberries, black cherries and blueberry compote plus touches of iron ore, bouquet garni, beef drippings and black soil.
This wine demonstrates intrigue from the very start, with dark red and blue fruits on the nose. A medley of mixed berry flavors are complemented by subtle mineral notes.
