Providence is the flagship wine of the winery. This wine has a deep color, aromas of black fruit fused with notes of red fruits, hints of dark chocolate and tobacco wrapped together with elegant oak.
Hand-harvested and sorted at the winery after harvest. Fermentation with native yeasts, Fermentation lasts 18 - 25 days for all wines. Aged in stainless steel tank for 18 months. Aged in bottle for 3 months before release. Age of vines: 60 years.
The wine appeared in 1981 and is named after the artist Nikolai (Niko) Pirosmanashvili. The wine is made from Saperavi grapes. After 5-7 days of maceration, when the desired level of residual sugar is reached, the fermentation process is stopped by cooling and filtering the wine, thereby preserving its natural sweetness and freshness.
The aromas on this fully ripe 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon show lovely dark cherry and cocoa notes, baking spices and cedar bark, anise, currants, berry jam. Full, soft and velvety at entry, the palate impression is broad and very smooth, with bright fresh fruit elements.
