The Matton-Farnets have been in the wine industry for almost three centuries, beginning at the Domaine de Chateauneuf in Vidauban, and continuing at Château Minuty from 1936 where Gabriel Farnet, the grandfather of François and Jean-Etienne, the current owners, set up.
Color: Straw yellow.Bouquet: Complex bouquet with notes of ripe fruit and white flowers.Flavour: Soft, round, fresh and juicy.
Deep red color with blue tones, with good tears and color. Of great aromatic richness, noticing red fruits, ripe plums, cherries, and cherries, in balance with notes of chocolate and vanilla.
A clean, bright, pretty red color, developing to maroon. Intense and highly complex aromas. Notes of stewed fruit. Sweet and warm hints from the barrel, and spicy nuances in the background (cinnamon). Nice and long on the palate.
Transparent yellow. A delightfully complex nose of lime and grapefruit blended with herbs such as boxwood. Citrus and herb notes reappear on the palate. A fresh, bright, and pleasing wine with nicely balanced acidity and good persistence.
A blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano harvest by hand. The grapes are destemmed then placed in wooden vats. It is then matured in oak barrels that have already been used for 2 or 3 wines for 24 months.
Deep ruby red. Expressive and intense, this wine reflects the great character of Carmenere from Maipo. It has vegetal notes which give it freshness, alongside many ripe fruit aromas, such as plums, blackberries and black cherries.
On the nose, the power and tenacity of the aromas are unmistakably new world character, but when tasted, this wine is the ultimate expression of a big Napa Cab. Plush core of concreted flavors, massive and well-structured tannins coat your entire palette with a satiny mouthfeel.
