In 1998 Ella Valley Wineries was established to return the wine culture back to Israel with the tools, knowledge and technical advances to go forward into the 21st century. The Hai series of wines is a range specifically created for export, sourced from different vineyards throughout the country, with the aim of producing food friendly kosher wines.
This wine is produced from exquisitely balanced grapes grown in Segal's Dishon Vineyard. The vineyard, in the Kadesh Valley in the northern Galilee, is planted on well-drained, dark soil at a height of 430 meters above sea level. Select blocks of the vineyard are densely planted, and strict vineyard management limits the yield, thus intensifying the grapes' natural sugar, acid, and color. Rich tannins enhance the fruit's quality.

This blend of famed Rhone varietal grapes, Syrah and Mourvedre, is grown in Netofa's vineyards in the lower Galilee, near the famous Kerem ben Zimra. Weiss Winery continues the tradition of the family's grandfather, who founded the first winery in Mátészalka, Hungary, in 1882. This special blend is named after one hundred founders of the Mea Shearim neighborhood of Jerusalem. The grapes were harvested by hand from old vineyards, underwent long fermentations, and aged for 26 months in high-quality French oak barrels.
The grapes for this wine were carefully selected from vineyards in Clarksburg, California. This full bodied and complex Chardonnay exhibits all of the elegant characteristics of the varietal grown in this renowned appellation with top notes of citrus and tropical fruit. Enjoy this wine slightly chilled with herb roasted chicken or almond crusted fish. The structure of this wine will allow it to age for up to 5 years if properly stored at 55°-60°F

Covenant’s Israeli winery started making Viognier from the Galilee in 2017 under the BLUE C label. It inspired us to see what a California Viognier could deliver using the same production methods. Covenant RED C Viognier comes from the same vineyard in Lodi, CA, that produces our Mensch Roussanne grapes. (Both Viognier and Roussanne are best known as French Rhone varietals.)
