Founded in 1837 by farmers George and John Rate, twenty miles from the heart of Edinburgh, Glenkinchie was completely rebuild in the 1890s to become a large model distillery.

The name has two meanings. The 20-year-old bourbon matured twice as long as the standard Eagle Rare 10-year-old bourbon. Also, the Double Eagle decanter features two sculptured crystal glass eagles, one inside the bottle, while the other serves as the stopper.
Grapes of ancient origin which were considered valuable as early as the thirteenth century. This grappa, which has a great personality, rests in oak barrels from two to five years until it has modified its original sensory profile. In 2001 it won the only gold medal in Bordeaux assigned to a grappa.
