Perrier-Jouët’s famous flower-trimmed bottle, the exquisite Belle Epoque champagne, is one of the most recognizable and well-known wines on the planet. Far less encountered are others in the range, including Rose and Blanc de Blancs.
Codorníu Clásico Brut (made with organic grapes), as its name indicates, is the traditional cava par excellence, made using the three classic varieties from the D.O. Cava: Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada. Its fresh, fruity and delicate aromas make it the ideal option for a predinner aperitif. The versatility of this cava means that it will be your saviour on many occasions when served well chilled.
Although the whites are the most consumed sparkling wines, the rosados are attracting attention of wine connoisseurs, due to their greater intensity in the palate, besides more body, acidity and tannins little more present, compared to the "white brothers". The taste of red berries is also more accentuated, so that it becomes less citric and therefore a little less refreshing than whites.
Grapes are harvested by hand, gently crushed, and soft pressed before being transferred to the winery for primary alcoholic fermentation. A second fermentation at low temperature lasts over two months, and the wine is finished with maturation on yeast lees for three months before bottling. 90% Glera, 10% Pinot Noir harvested in the province of Vicenza in the Veneto region of northern Italy.
Brut Impèrial Rosè is a blend of the three wine varieties, with an emphasis on Pinot Noir, embodying a fruity and daring character. Rosè with shades of copper, good intensity.
