Cognac is a wine-based spirit solely produced in the Cognac area of France. To be considered Cognac, it must be made from white grapes from one or more of 6 approved growing regions.
Pierre Vallet XO cognac is an extra old blend of eaux-de-vie, brought for the first time from Maison Pierre Vallet. Pierre Vallet is a family business owned by the same family responsible for Château de Montifaud.

An aromatic Cognac from Courvoisier that combines the traditions of Cognac with the elegance of Japanese mizunara oak. Made in a collaboration with House of Suntory chief blender Shinji Fukuyo, it started out maturing in French oak barrels, before being transferred into Japanese mizunara casks for a secondary maturation.
Eye: Deep flamed amber.
