Mukuzani is an excellent wine from Georgia, made from Saperavi sort of vine, cultivated in the Mukuzani micro-zone of the Kakhetian region. Kisi grape were selected from our old vineyards, and fermented for six months in the traditional clay vessel - Ovevri buried in the ground in our wine cellar. After the primary fermentation the wine is pressed and transferred to the French oak barrels for malolactic fermentation and maturation. The ancient Georgian word "Gemieri" is translated as "tasty". A hand-picked variation of carefully selected and ripe grapes from the microzones Sviri in Imereti and Tsinandali in Kakheti.
