Saperavi is a dry red wine made from saperavi grapes. It is a rich purple red and youthful, with plenty of woodland and berry fruit and cherries on the nose. The taste is well balanced with spicy notes.
The frozen Vidal grapes were harvested in late December 2019 when temperatures fell between -10ºC and -13ºC. After settling the juice in stainless steel tanks, cool fermentation was completed in late-February when the wine was placed outdoors to stop fermentation and to complete natural cold stabilization.
This unique Canadian product was harvested at the height of Canada’s crisp winter. Naturally frozen on the vine and then picked when the temperature drops to a frigid -10ºC (14ºF). Only a small amount of concentrated nectar can be squeezed from each bunch.
Inniskillin Vidal Icewine Pearl 2021 is a luxurious dessert wine that boasts a complex flavor profile. Its tropical fruit notes of orange, mango, and lemon are complemented by the subtle sweetness of peach and apricot, while a bright acidity keeps the wine fresh and lively.
Kvareli is produced in one of the most well-regarded viticulture areas from saperavi grapes. This dark-ruby-red-colored, full-bodied dry wine has an intense cherry and spicy nose, with hints of dark chocolate, though still mellow with damson and smoky oak.
Alazani Valley Red is a medium-sweet wine. This dark-pomegranate-colored wine with a violet hue is produced from saperavi grapes. The nose reveals fresh black fruit and prune notes. The taste is full, soft, and spicy with a remarkably long and well-balanced finish.
Alexandreuli is a natural, medium-sweet wine made from a blend of Alexandreuli and of Mujuretuli grapes grown in Marani's Kondoli Vineyards. The color is bright ruby. Intense raspberry- and strawberry-juice nose, underlined by a touch of white-pepper hints.
