Qvevri Saperavi is a deep red color wine with dark purple hints, made in traditional ancient way. Nose is intense, offering aromas of fresh ripe red fruits and minty flavours. Dry red wine made from Otskhanuri Sapere grape variety, appellation- Imereti Otskhanuri Sapere is a very common Imereti vine variety. It gives the table quality red wine. It is also used to make other red and white wines by fermenting their juice otskhane sapere on chacha.
As a somewhat more powerful alternative to Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch is also playing an increasingly important role at the Glatzer winery. The typical black cherry dominates the nose, plus a lot of spice with cloves and allspice, also blackberries and some orange zest, plus leafy nuances. A mellow texture on the palate, very engaging, again the spicy blackberry, plus roasted plums, soft tannin and delicate acidity, but intense - a true Blaufränkisch flatterer!

Traditional Georgian wine made from Saperavi grapes cultivated in the strictly regulated micro-zone of Mukuzani, Gurjaani district, Kakheti, Eastern Georgia, the wine shows aromas of black cherry, dark chocolate with vanilla and spice. There's generous ripe sprinkling mouth-filling fruit on the palate. With notes of damson, followed by robust tannins. Food matching: grilled meat, medium aged cheese. Serve at +16C .. +18C

Saperavo Qvevri is a red wine made from Saperavi grapes, grown in the Kakheti region. The grapes are crushed, macerated and fermented on the skins and seeds of qvevri for few months according to Kakhetian method of winemaking. This wine is of intense dark garnet-color with balanced and harmonious bouquet of ripe cherries, plums with long aftertaste.
