Delicious, with elegance and complexity, this white feathering aromas of peach, green apple, white flower and honeycomb lead to a refreshing mouth feel and flavors of persimmon and butterscotch, finishing with orange zest. Pairs well with fish, chicken and light pastas.
Light-bodied and well-balanced, with a cool minerality and refreshing acidity. The relatively high acidity of Assyrtiko gives this easy-drinking white a crisp freshness.

Its favorite food includes the leaves of vine tedrils. Research has shown that there are certain varieties of grapes whose leaves the clever cricket will not touch. These are primarily the leaves of the Grüner Veltliner grape.
The bouquet promises fresh fruits and ripeness as well: yellow apple, honey melon, and a hint of quince. Subtle exotic hints enhance the juicy feeling on the palate, while the classic aspects of Grüner Veltliner with pronounced herbal, spicy, and peppery fruit are evident more during the long aftertaste. The 2021 Ried Loibenberg Loibner Riesling Smaragd is deep intense and ripe on the nose but also pure and fresh with notes of crushed stones and tropical yellow stone fruits. Dense and intense on the substantial palate this is a full-bodied concentrated and sustainably structured Loibenberg with great intensity grip and mineral tension. The finish is very long intense and quite powerful and still dominated by its ripe fruit.
From a mix of younger and older vines of 5-40 year old vines planted various plots closer to the river on alluvial soil and sand. Hand harvested, whole bunch pressed with a few hours of skin contact in pneumatic press Natural ferment takes place in mix of older large format cask (500-5000L) and stainless steel followed by around 3 months on full lees with no battonage.
