The Netofa Tel Qasser Red is a Rhone blend aged for 10 months in French oak barrels. Deep purple in color, fresh blackberries and raspberries on the nose followed by dried violets, lavender as well as hints of grilled meat and black pepper.
This blend of famed Rhone varietal grapes, Syrah and Mourvedre, is grown in Netofa's vineyards in the lower Galilee, near the famous Kerem ben Zimra. This area is well known for having one of the best climates in israel for grape growing. The wine is complex and elegant, bringing forward the richness of wild berries, red fruit, and Mediterranean fresh herbs. No filtration or fining was used while making this wine, in order to preserve those unique characteristics.
