The Netofa Tel Qasser Red is a Rhone blend aged for 10 months in French oak barrels. Deep purple in color, fresh blackberries and raspberries on the nose followed by dried violets, lavender as well as hints of grilled meat and black pepper.
This blend of famed Rhone varietal grapes, Syrah and Mourvedre, is grown in Netofa's vineyards in the lower Galilee, near the famous Kerem ben Zimra. This area is well known for having one of the best climates in israel for grape growing. The Cave "Old Vines" represents the Cave winery's masterpiece. This fine wine was made from quality Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown on mature vines that were planted in the early 1980's in Kerem Ben Zimra in the upper Galilee region of Israel.

The wine is complex and elegant, bringing forward the richness of wild berries, red fruit, and Mediterranean fresh herbs. No filtration or fining was used while making this wine, in order to preserve those unique characteristics.
