The Psagot Prat is a red port wine made from grapes grown in the Judean Hills. The color is a dark purple, with floral notes of dark fruit, chocolate, and rose pedals. The wine is aged for 16 months in French oak barrels, which adds nice vanilla oak flavors to the complex fruit flavors. Tasting notes include blackberry, plum, cranberry, coffee, and chocolate. The oak also smooths over the mouth feel and leaves the wine supple with velvety tannins.

Full-bodied, concentrated with flavors of ripe black and red berries, smoked wood, pepper, sweet plums, dried figs, roasted coffee beans with medium acidity and searing tannins as well as a hint of grape seeds bitterness on a long and rich finish.
