The blend consists of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Marselan, 16% Merlot, and 8% Sangiovese from our vineyards in the Judean Hills region. This wine pays tribute to the Marsalis family, known as “the first family of jazz.”
Weiss Winery continues the tradition of the family's grandfather, who founded the first winery in Mátészalka, Hungary, in 1882. This special blend is named after one hundred founders of the Mea Shearim neighborhood of Jerusalem. The grapes were harvested by hand from old vineyards, underwent long fermentations, and aged for 26 months in high-quality French oak barrels.
It has a black fruit aroma, with a bouquet of cacao, coffee and vanilla and a very soft tones of spices in the background. The palate echoes scents of black fruit, prunes and cherry and the balanced acidity leaves a refreshing sensation. It's body is full and opulent with a finish that is balanced and prolonged.
With its intense flavors and layered complexity, combined with softness and restraint, this wine is capable of gracefully maturing in a bottle, befitting of wines produced in the Superieur Series.
The Golan Heights Winery in northern Israel has a cold terrain which gets covered in snow each winter, providing an exceptional environment in which it produces a wine like this, with a lot of saline in the aroma.
The wine is complex and elegant, bringing forward the richness of wild berries, red fruit, and Mediterranean fresh herbs. No filtration or fining was used while making this wine, in order to preserve those unique characteristics.
The 7th generation wines show high quality, concentration, and complexity. The color of the wine is deep purple. The wine has the aromas of blueberries, black tea and is spicy. It is powerful and earthy, with flavors of black fruit. The wine is full-bodied with a long fruity finish.

The result is high quality boutique wines with a distinctive identity. This wine was produced from northern Galilee Sauvignon Bland and Chardonnay grapes froth Avtalion and Yohanan vineyards.
This wine is a proprietary blend from the winemakers at Psagot, which means that the grapes will not be revealed but I'm guessing there is either some Syrah or Zinfandel due to the spicy nature of the wine.
