Meticulous, selective harvesting, sorting and fermentation process of a unique blend of 3 varietals originating historically from Spain, produced a premium, Mediterranean style wine, with an emphasis on aromatic spice, potency and complexity of the flavors typical of these varietals.
1848 Cabernet Sauvignon Grand Reserve 2014 is a distinguished red wine from the Galilee region in Israel. Crafted with 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, this wine reflects the unique terroir of the area. The 2014 vintage is known for its depth and complexity, showcasing rich black fruit flavors, hints of cedar, and a touch of spice.
This dry red wine was produced from a blend of Merlot grapes grown in the Upper Galilee. After fermentation, the wine underwent extended skin contact before being transferred to French Oak barrels for a maturation period of 14 months.
This special blend of carefully selected grapes and high-tech process of micro-oxygenation has resulted in a very round wine with exotic spiciness and plenty of fruit.
The grapes used in making this delicious wine were fermented and barrel aged in French oak for a period of 15 months. The wine was then blended, bottled, and aged for a further year prior to labeling.
Barkan Reserve Merlot is produced using handpicked grapes grown in northern Galilee vineyards. The timing of the harvest is critical in order to achieve the precise balance of taste, color, and sugar.
