The 2022 Organic Sauvignon Blanc is tropical and rich on the nose. The wine leads with salted pineapple, peach, brine and stewed apples. In the mouth, it is broad, flat and simple. There is fruit there, but its final, best year might be this one. Drink up. 85 Points Wine Advocate
The Tokoeka Estate Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is the epitome of fine Marlborough wine. This premium wine displays a brilliant, light golden color with intense passionfruit aromas on the nose. The palate is rounded, soft, and elegant with dominant passionfruit flavors and hints of crisp minerality, which is balanced by perfectly soft acidity. The grapes were harvested according to flavour and skin ripeness. To express the purity of fruit flavours from our sitethe majority of the wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks. A 25% portion was fermented in aged oak barriques and another in skins for aromatic spice and texture. The combination gives a wine full of varietal characters that express the site here at URLAR.

Distinctly Marlborough, this pure and bright Sauvignon Blanc has a vibrant fruit- driven nose bursting with citrus and tropical fruit. On the palate luscious flavours of lemon zest and guava combine with notes of currant leaf and fresh bell pepper. Finely balanced with zesty acidity, an underlying minerality, and just a hint of residual sweetness this crisp and fresh wine leads to a long, dry, and persistent finish.
Individual parcels of Pinot Noir are hand harvested and destemmed for fermentation in tank. Fermentation by indigenous yeasts from our organically farmed vineyard drive the fermentation. Time on skins is monitored by taste and the ferments are gently plunged daily. Pressing off and barrelling down into French oak barriques (20% new). Natural malolactic fermentation in barrel occurs and completes in spring or before. The wine is aged on lees and racked prior to the next harvest for blending and bottling.
