13.5% alcohol content. Hand harvested, whole cluster fermentation in vat, no pigeage or pumping over, pressed when fermentation is complete. Aged for 24 months in a single 1200 L Stockinger foudre.

The 2012 Unico Tinto is concentrated, juicy, silky, and well-defined. Notable characteristics included the healthiness, the strong coloring, and very ripe tannins suitable for ageing. An excellent vintage.
Cherry red. Fruity aromas enveloped by noble woods, with hints of vanilla and toast. Suggestive, enveloping and polished. It fills the mouth without aggressiveness, smooth and round.
This is very polished and pretty with dark fruit and hints of cedar and vanilla. It’s medium-bodied with well-integrated tannins and a vivid finish. 100% tempranillo. Enjoyable now, but can improve in the bottle.
The bedrock is schistous: the same rock that underlies the Port vineyards of the Douro further downstream. The topsoil is chalk-based, very pale and quite sandy.
Pintia 2019 is probably the most vertical Pintia, the most fruitful, but at the same time with a lot of plot. It came with a very silky texture that makes it easy to enjoy, but with an incredible journey.
