With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Nexus masters the picturesque and enchanting landscape of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon). With the special Nexus Plus+ DO from 2009, you will positively surprise your friends.
This Rioja is medium-bodied with aromas of red cherry accented by flowers and fall leaves. On the finish, additional notes of leather and stewed red fruits lead into velvety tannins. It is not too traditional nor too modern stylistically.
Bright violet color. Aromas of red berries, spices and dried flowers with a spicy note that is becomes pronounced as it breathes. Juicy in the mouth, offers fresh currants and cherry flavors. Fine-grained tannins add to a long finish with accented spices.
A single varietal (100 percent) Tempranillo. Its grapes are from Cenicero. They are destemmed and pressed with new fermentation control technology and long maceration periods.
Vetus means forbidden in Latin. The vines are located at an altitude of 810 to 930 m, in the northernmost area of Rueda (Segoría); here the harvest is about 3 weeks later than elsewhere in the DO.
The wine is coming from a plot called “La Navilla”, situated in the same estate where the winery is located, and facing a very optimum south west position. The harvest was done by hand, following a vinification process with knowledge to keep all the excepcional qualities of the grapes of this excellent vintage.
Valbuena 5º is the purest expression of red wine at Vega Sicilia. It is aged between barrel and bottle over five years, giving rise to the wine's name. The 2018 bottling is a vertical, zingy, crystalline expression, full of nuances, with a seductive and unctuous texture.
The 2016 Viña Cubillo Tinto Crianza was surprising, spectacular, elegant, clean and fresh like few vintages before. It was a superb year, with quality, quantity and freshness. The 2016s have moderate alcohol and especially the perception of less ripeness (even though the alcohol is very similar). It feels very young, still quite primary.
Sal da Terra is comprised of wine from two of Eulogio’s own parcels. The first, Francón, is immediately adjacent to the Ría de Arousa which gives it direct Atlantic influence. The soils are sandy granite and red clay with 35-year-old vines trained on pergolas.
Alión comes from carefully selected terroirs located in the very best areas of the Ribera del Duero DO region. The soils complement each other, and allied with the same winemaking process used in Vega Sicilia, they have produced wines with a firm structure. 2018 was a fresh, Atlantic-influenced vintage, giving this Alión a more vertical, longer, and elegant expression.

Ramon Cordova Rioja Reserve mature vines 2019 Rioja was produced from Tempranillo grapes harvested from the most mature vineyards of Ramon Cordoba, located in the Harro region of the northern Spanish Rioja region.
Beautiful purple color with classic Tempranillo varietal characteristics of blackberry, redcurrant and licorice. Fruity with a fresh, medium-length finish.
